What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing channel and why should an online marketer have one?

It is a marketing strategy used to get prospective customers to buy products from you. It's a selling process that allows someone to browse your website to find information that can solve their issue. You can build a relationship through specific tools.

This will help you know the wants and needs of every visitor. This will allow you to provide the best information possible to all your visitors. When you have gained the trust of a potential customer, that visitor will feel more comfortable purchasing products. The customer becomes the visitor.

Certain customers turn out to be extremely loyal customers, ready to buy any product you promote. A marketing funnel consists of all of the steps required to bring a frequent visitor to your website into a loyal customer and purchase every item you offer.

For any internet marketer, this is the final objective. A properly created funnel can achieve this very quickly.

Your marketing efforts are grabbing the attention of people, and bringing them into your funnel. They enter the funnel once they fill out the forms on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I say "personal" because no one is going to opt in on your business lead capture page. They want to be a leader and not a business.

The lead capture page is the entrance into the funnel - when they click that "Sign up Now" or "Enter Here" button, they enter an entirely new idea in network marketing.

They are getting ready for it, which is the most effective thing. It's their decision. You've sold them nothing except your leadership qualities, a mentor, and as someone who can help them get more leads and more money into their businesses.

This is how a standard marketing funnel functions:

You can provide an item for free to your "front-end" to draw and attract people who are interested in your products. To receive your product for free, join (also known as opt-in) and give your name and email address. Then you'll add them to your mailing list.

You now have these people in your email list and you can offer them similar offers that might interest them.

After sign-up to receive the free offer, you'll be directed to a webpage that has a low-cost offer or what's called trip wire offers. This is the point where they go into the "back-end of the funnel."

They are taken to a similar offer with a lower price if they purchase the low-priced offer (also known as an upsell). The person will also be transferred to the next product if they buy the same offer at a higher price. The process could be repeated for a number of more.
