November 12 ended the one-week period in which individuals could file for candidacy for the 2020 national and regional elections.

In Arkansas, Representative DeAnn Vaught filed for the 2020 election for District 4 in the State House, according to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

She filed for her candidacy on November 6, and she is the only candidate in District 4. No one from District 4 filed for candidacy for the Arkansas State Senate. Three candidates filed for candidacy for the U.S. Congress District 4, which includes Little River County.

Incumbent Representative Bruce Westerman filed on November 5, and Frank Gilbert and William H. Hanson filed on November 4. Incumbent Senator Tom Cotton filed for the U.S. Senate along with three other candidates — Josh Mahony, Dan Whitfield and Ricky Dale Harrington Jr.
