What to Look for in November

Deer Season

The modern gun deer season for Little River County — Zones 14 and 15 — runs from Nov. 9 to Dec. 8.

Quail Season

For the entire state, quail season runs from Nov. 1 to Feb. 2.

Waterfowl Seasons

The first duck, coot and merganser season is Nov. 23–Dec. 2.

The second white-fronted goose season is Nov. 23–Dec. 6.

The second Canada goose season is Nov. 23–Dec. 6.

Snipe season is Nov. 1–Feb. 15 with a daily limit of eight and a possession limit of 24.

Woodcock season is Nov. 2–Dec. 16 with a daily limit of three and a possession limit of nine.

Festivals

The Hot Springs Renaissance Faire is Nov. 2–3 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Garland County Fairgrounds.

Amity Trade Days is Nov. 8–10 in Amity.

Movies

For those who do not want to brave the weather this November, the theaters have plenty of new movies coming out this month: Terminator: Dark Fate, Arctic Dogs, Doctor Sleep and Frozen II.
